Progressive Wellness

Our "Progressive Wellness" individualized rehabilitation programs are designed to restore abilities lost due to stroke, cardiovascular difficulties, fractures, orthopedic surgery and other debilitating conditions.

Our average length of stay is 32 days. Over 70% of our residents return home with renewed strength.

The following rehabilitation services are offered:

Occupational Therapy promotes and enhances an individual's independence. Our skilled therapists help our patients to improve or regain abilities in their activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating, and home management).

Physical Therapy helps residents to regain their independence and safety with transfers and ambulation. PT provides therapeutic exercises, as well as transfer, balance, endurance, and cardiovascular training. Patients are also taught proper body mechanics and safety techniques to better perform mobility tasks.

Speech/Language therapy is designed to help increase functional communication, cognitive skills, and teach safe swallowing techniques. Diet modification, muscle retraining, compensatory strategies, and use of communication devices are a few of the techniques utilized to help residents achieve their goals.
